To become a mentor, you must:
Be available for the entire Intreeweek period
Be a student of the University of Amsterdam
Attend the mentor instruction day, where you will:
Meet organizers
Receive safety training (including alcohol/drugs awareness)
Get extra information about the week that participants don’t have
Mentor opportunities
Intreeweek mentor
This is the regular version of Intreeweek. Follow all events!
Starting on Monday morning the 24th untill Friday the 28th

IntreeLite mentor
This is a three-day version of Intreeweek. For participants who cannot join all 5 days or who want to experience a less intense Intreeweek.
You will guide a group starting on Monday morning the 24th and untill Wednesday evening the 26th.
You can still enjoy events on Thursday and Friday
The events are the same as in the regular Intreeweek program during this time frame, so check out the programme page for more information.
Get Ready with IntreeLite mentor
Get Ready-groups are part of the three-day Intree Lite programme and are designed for students who may feel less confident about starting university or prefer a more personal introduction to student life.

To become a mentor, you must be a current Bachelor's or Master's student at the University of Amsterdam. You also need to be available from August 24th till (the morning of) August 29st. Lastly, we recommend you attend the mentor instruction day: on Friday the 21st of August.

Yes, you can still become a mentor. However, we will give priority to people who have attended the instruction day.

No, we only offer sleeping spots to participants.

Yes, that is possible. Be sure to mention your functional disability in the registration form.

Yes, it's possible to pair up with a friend. To do this, fill in the email of your partner in the mentor registration form. Make sure that your partner has already completed the registration form.

Entry to the Closing Party is free for mentors. You do need to reserve your spot when the ticket sale goes live during Intreeweek. Keep an eye on your email on August 25th — you’ll receive a personal reservation link.
