The week begins with the registration at Roeterseilandcampus. Here, you will receive your wristbands, which you must wear throughout the entire week. This wristband grants you access to all events and allows you to pay for drinks. During registration, mentors and participants will meet for the first time and form their groups.

The official opening of Intreeweek 2026 will be held in the DeLaMar theatre. In this beautiful theatre, various people will speak and welcome you to the city and Intreeweek.

Intree Connects kicks off the week and is the first moment for everyone to truly get to know each other. Cheerful background music plays from the dome in Oosterpark, encouraging everyone to start the week interactively and socially.
Throughout the event, there are various activities to be found that allow you to connect with your group. Intree Connects is all about connection, fun, and starting the week together with your group in an enthusiastic way!!

Get excited for Intree United: the ultimate opening party of Intreeweek 2026! We’re taking over the NDSM Loods for a night full of banger music, the HIGHEST energy, and unforgettable memories. Kick off the evening at the student association market where you can discover all that Amsterdam’s student life has to offer. This is your chance to meet fellow students, get inspired and dance the night away to killer DJ’s. Put on your favourite shades and white clothes and prepare for an amazing night with bursting neon colours. See you there!

Discover two of Amsterdam’s most iconic museums, all in one morning. Feeling inspired? Join a creative drawing session in the garden of the Rijksmuseum, accompanied by the soothing sounds of live classical music.
Want something more cultural? Dive into the world of contemporary art at the Stedelijk Museum, following a tour to learn about art and design in an interactive way! There is also a fun workshop waiting for you here, don’t miss it!

Get ready for Intree Games at USC Science Park, where Amsterdam’s student sports associations come together for an active and exciting day! From team sports to individual challenges, this is your opportunity to discover and try out something new. Meet the associations and find the one that suits you best. When you need a break, relax and grab a bite at the cafe Oerknal. Whether you’re competitive or just curious, this is the perfect place to get active, explore your options, and get involved!

This year, Back to the Roets is entirely dedicated to the warm and colorful atmosphere of Mexico. From 16:00 to 21:00, Roeterseiland transforms into a cheerfully decorated spot full of music, good times, and a few activities, including inflatable football. It promises to be a festive atmosphere where everyone can enjoy the good times together. Mentors can pick up Domino’s pizzas for their children during the event.
On the Roetersweiland, there is a bar, a chill-out area, and the stage for music! It will be a festive setting with a Mexican touch. Get in the mood by wearing a colorful outfit to this event!

Tuesday night is all about associations! Tonight they are taking over the Intreeweek programme and showing you all Amsterdam’s student life has to offer. Choose your association and discover their own character, traditions, and activities. Pick the ones that catch your interest and see what student life could look like beyond your studies. Most of all, explore the student scene, meet new people and dance the night away!

While also getting to know the University Library where you might be spending the next few years studying. Take your Intree bag with you and leave with a bag full of goodies, discounts and deals!

Night at the Museum is the most diverse event of the week. On Thursday, you can visit four museums, each offering unique activities. At the Verzetsmuseum, join a Sip and Paint session. The Hortus features a Lowlander Beer Tasting, Sensory Tour, scavenger hunt, and its beautiful botanical garden. At the Groote Museum, enjoy a silent disco, tarot readers, guided tours, and a light meal. The Planetarium offers a space-themed show, arcade games, and drawing activities in the café. There is something for everyone to enjoy throughout the evening.
